DESCRIPTION

Theory course that covers topics of diving pedagogy techniques, teaching the candidate how to evaluate the course of Assistant Instructor and how to teach the course of Entry Level Instructor.

PREREQUISITES

  • Be at least 20 years old.
  • Be an ACUC Open Water Instructor.
  • It is mandatory to be Instructor of the following ACUC specialties: First Aid and Oxygenation.
  • To prepare at least 2 Assistant Instructors and that these candidates pass the evaluation, or to attend as an observer in at least 2 Entry Level Instructor o 2 Open Water Instructor courses.

DURATION

No exact duration can be fixed and is normal that this level is done over an undefined period of time, depending on the disponibility of the candidate and of the courses.

REQUIREMENTS TO OBTAIN THE CERTIFICATION

FINAL QUALIFICATIONS

Fourth Instructor Level.

This course trains the candidate to work as an Instructor, teaching and supervising divers on and under the water, in any Club, School or Diving Center and to give diving classes and certify up to the level of Assistant Instructor and to teach, but not certify, the course of Entry Level Instructor.

The candidate can also offer certain specialty courses.
