DESCRIPTION

Theory and practical course that extends over the Rescue Course and covers the topics related to general First Aid, including non water related emergencies. It includes:

PREREQUISITES

  • There are no prerequisites for this course, any person can take it, even non divers

DURATION

Approximately between 10 and 15 hours, depending on the number of students in the course.

REQUIREMENTS TO OBTAIN THE CERTIFICATION

To pass satisfactorily:

  • The practical exercises.
  • A written examination on the theory of First Aid Administration and equipment use.

APPROXIMATE COST

The cost of the courses can vary according to the Club, Center or Instructor and according to what is included within the course.

The more expensive courses normally include things such as diver insurance, the cost of the medical checkout and the hotel stay in the place of the open water tests.

Also, the price of the courses is influenced by the number of students. Normally, courses with more students tend to be more economic, while private or semi private courses logically are more expensive.

FINAL QUALIFICATIONS
