DESCRIPTION

Optional Certification (not mandatory to accede to the Instructor level)..

Theory and Practical course in an internal apprenticeship, working directly with one or several instructors in an ACUC Dive School, Center or Club, that covers the topics of diving pedagogy techniques, teaching the candidate how to teach the courses of Scuba Diver and of Open Water Diver and assist in the teaching of Advanced Diver, Rescue Diver and Divemaster.

DURATION

There is no set duration. The apprenticeship can be as long as needed for the candidate and the instructors, until both are comfortable that the candidate is prepared to take the evaluation for the Assistant Instructor program.

As this course is an apprenticeship, there is no set cost for it. The training instructor(s) will determine the cost of the course. The candidate will have to pay the evaluation costs.

FINAL QUALIFICATIONS

Optional Certification. Second Instructor Level.

This apprenticeship trains the candidate to work as an Assistant Instructor, teaching and supervising divers on and under the water, in any Club, School or Diving Center and to give diving classes, always under the supervision of an Instructor. The AI can teach Dive Introductory Programs (D.I.P.), Snorkel Programs, Scuba Diver and Open Water Diver, but can not evaluate or certify Divers.
